@silvaback Just like we assumed Zeke wouldn’t hold out with 2 years left on his contract? Diggs’ contract is up after this year and I can guarantee he’ll want to get his bag before CeeDee and Micha’s contract come up. We all know that both will want to be paid at the highest levels of receivers and LB’s, especially if they continue to improve this year over past seasons. The problem with your scenario, the cowboys may have the bag, but there’s still a salary cap. If Dak’s contract in 2023 didn’t add up to 12% of the entire cap this year, they might could resign all three of these guys now. I wouldn’t be surprised if Digg’s holds out, especially if he thinks Jerry is trying to undercut him. If they continue to use Micha as they are, 75% of his time on the line rushing, he may not last before a 3rd contract is due. He was beat up at the end of the season last year. How long can he continue?

@Kavon Gittens Exactly, Diggs and Parsons are the building blocks of the defense and more the reason you’d see a holdout for more money. The second contract is always the reason for a holdout for more money but don’t worry, JJ always overpays these guys. See Dak, Jaylon Smith, Zeke and Pollard with his 10 million tag. These guys know there won’t be a 3rd contract in all likelihood.

Gilly is cool calm and collected the defense would get rattled a lot and would look lost out there at times hopefully Gilly helps prevent that

@John Young Well we know Diggs can’t tackle the top guy. I think Gilmore, for being 33 when the season starts, will have problems with the twitcher WR’s that can start-stop fast. Justin Jefferson had Gilmore in a blender last year and turned him every which way but loose for a TD. Big upgrade over AB no doubt though. I’m happy…
