SF and Dallas basically ran for the same yards in 2022, about 2,300 yds each. The difference is that SF employed a platoon (McCaffrey led SF with 746), while Dallas split their rushing totals with Pollard/Zeke. When Pollard went down, we were done in that game, and SF continued to do what they do until our defense caved in... You tell me what's the better approach.

Isn’t Pollard and Zek a platoon. The difference is also Kellen NoMoore wouldn’t put Beasley in the game. Not even for one carry. Or the RB coach Peete who had obvious favoritism for Zek. Glad he’s gone also.

🤗 Everson stumbled into the puzzle of what McCarthy was really saying: he doesn't necessarily want to run it more overall; instead, he wants to pass it less often to reduce drive-killing turnovers while running it more in key moments in a game. If you let Dak "cook", then the Cowboys end up 3rd in the NFL (2022) in thrown interceptions. Cowboys are less likely to lose the ball if they run the ball (31st in fumbles in 2022). McCarthy remembers how the Packers Offense lost to the Giants in the 2011 playoffs: they relied too much on Rodgers (passed or rushed in 53 out of Packers 69 Offense plays) and the Packers had 4 turnovers, including three fumbles.

Gunsling only works against bad teams not teams like the 49ers check your ego and do less for better results

Dak needs to throw it 20-25 times a game like his rookie season difference is now we have a better defense to help him being a gun slinger is good for fantasy football not for Dallas getting to the super bowl

All of this running back talk is asinine. Stephen talking about a back not playing in his second contract yet he’s trying to sign pollard on a second coming off of an injury.

Y’all need to hang up your microphones if you’re still promoting Zeke. He’s been washed up since signing his contract. He’s now useless, he had a chance to step up at SF. He couldn’t 🏈
